Barcelona Airport Transfers

For Barcelona Airport Transfers to the city of Barcelona you can take the Airport Bus or Airport Train.

The train can be reached via an overhead bridge which leads from the terminals to the train station.

If you decide to take a taxi, there's a row of taxis waiting as soon as you come out of the terminal.

Barcelona Aiport Shuttle Bus

The airport bus is by far the easier route to take with buses leaving from Plaça Catalunya (opposite El Corte Ingles) approximately every 9-10 minutes.

There's a timetable at the bus stop and the bus takes between 35-40 minutes. A single ticket is 4.05 euros.

Airport Train

Line 10 links the airport with the city centre and Sants and França train stations and stops at Airport - El Prat de Llobregat - Bellvitge - Barcelona Sants - Paseo de Gracia - Estació de França. The journey takes 32 minutes and trains come every 30 minutes.

Times: Leaves from airport from 06:00 to 22:29 and from Estació de França from 05:20 to 22:42

Price: Single, 2.50 Euro; Bonotren (10 journeys), 18,85 Euro

The airport falls within the integrated fare system (zone 1) of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area. Check the weekend times as they vary and change from time to time. Airport Taxis

Fares vary and depend on the time of day you arrive. For a journey into the center of Barcelona the fare will normally be around 20-24 euros.

If it's after 9.00pm then you'll be charged a little extra. To avoid any confusion, it's always a good idea to ask the driver (before you start) how much the journey will be.
