The Barcelona Metro is part of the excellent Barcelona transport system which is affordable, clean and modern and a great way to travel around town!


It's fast and very easy to use as the six lines are easy to recognize by their different colors - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 11.


The Metro Barcelona tickets are also valid for buses and a single ticket costs approximately 1.20€.


Barcelona Travel Cards can be bought from stations and kiosks.

Buying Tickets

Ticket machines are in different languages so all you have to do is press the British flag at the bottom of the screen and select a ticket.

  • The T-10 ticket is very economical and as the name suggests is valid for ten journeys. You can share the ticket with two or more people 6.65€

  • T-DIA - 24-hours in central Barcelona 5.00€

  • TRAVELCARD 2 DAYS 9.20€

  • TRAVELCARD 3 DAYS 13.20€

  • T-MES Monthly ticket with unlimited use 42.75€

  • T-50/30 Fifty journeys in thirty days 27.55€
