Barcelona shopping is a great experience! It covers an area of 5 kilometres from the Diagonal to the harbor via the Passeig de Gracia in the upmarket
Eixample district through the old city and
La Rambla.
The Eixample area of Barcelona is where you'll find Passeig de Gracia and all the top designer shops such as Bulgari, Gucci, Caroline Herrer and Chanel.
Diagonal - Pedralbes is Barcelona's main business area and a great place to go for shopping in Barcelona. There are two distinct areas with the first section stretching from Passeig de Gràcia to the Plaça de Francesc Macià.
The second section stretching from the Illa Diagonal shopping complex, Pedralbes Centre and El Corte Inglés (this marks the end of the Barcelona Shopping Line). There's also a special barcelona shopping bus to help you on your way!
Also here are the famous Antoni Gaudi landmarks such as Casa Mila (La Pedrera) and Casa Batlló which make your shopping experience even more exciting.
Spanish Stores
You'll find popular Spanish stores such as
MANGO
and Zara and on
Plaça Catalunya there's a Fnac, Habitat and Spain's largest department store, El Corte Inglés.
Another El Corte Inglés is just a few minutes away at Portal de l'Angel which is another great shopping area south of Plaça Catalunya.
Nearby is Carrer de la Portaferrissa (next to Las Ramblas) which is yet another great shopping experience. The street is always full of people enjoying shopping and re-charging their batteries at one of the many lovely cafes.

El Triangle shopping center is in front of El Corte Inglés on the corner of Plaça Catalunya and Pelayo Street and has shops such as Fnac (electrical and music) and Foot Locker

This waterfront complex is on the Moll d’Espanya at Port Vell.
There's a huge shopping mall which is open every day with many lovely shops, restaurants and cafes for you to explore.

Mango Outlet is at 37 Carrer de Girona - just off Gran Via which is just off
Plaça Catalunya.
You can often find some great bargains and there are lots of lovely bars and restaurants where you can chill out and re-charge your batteries.
Barcelona Markets - La Boqueria
As well as all the lovely shops and stores, shopping in Barcelona wouldn't be complete withought a visit to one of the many amazing markets (there are about 40).
Five of the most popular are on the 5 km shopping route, the most famous of which is the stunning La Boqueria market which also has an open-air flower market. Not far away in Barcelona Gothic Quarter is the Santa Caterina Market which is easily recognized by it's multi-colored wavey roof.
