Barcelona Center Hotel - Plaça Catalunya is in the heart of the city and this is where many of the hotels in Barcelona are located. This famous square is surrounded by lovely shops and hotels and is between the old part of the city (Ciutat Vella) and the Eixample district where the buildings of Antoni Gaudi can be seen along the 'golden square' (Quadrat d'Or).

Rambla Hotels

There are many hotels either side of La Rambla which is a 2 km long avenue stretching from Placa Catalunya to Barceloneta and the waterfront. On either side of this famous street are the popular areas of the old city.

Gothic Quarter Hotels

On the left (going down to the waterfront) is the medieval Gothic Quarter (Barri Gòtic) which is the oldest part of the city. The tiny streets lead to the lovely Cathedral and popular squares such as Plaça Reial (Royal Square) which is full of shops, restaurants and bars.

El Born Hotels

The stylish and very trendy area of El Born is full of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. The area is separated from the Gothic Quarter by the famous Via Laietana. Nearby is the buzzing waterfront and beach of Barceloneta and the popular Parc de la Ciutadella (city park).

Raval Hotels

The area of El Raval is close to La Rambla and Placa Catalunya. It's where you'll find La Bouqueria in-door market and Museu D'Art Contemporani De Barcelona (MACBA) and the Centre of Contemporary Culture (CCCB).

Many of Gaudi's famous buildings are located in the Golden Square (Quadrat d'Or) which is in the Eixample district on the other side of Plaça Catalunya. There are two main areas to the Eixample district, the left and right (Esquera and Dreta). Gaudi's buildings are located on the right where some of the most lovely hotels are also located.

The Paral Lel Hotel is located next to las Ramblas and Puerto Olímpico and with easy access by metro or bus. There are 66 air-conditioned rooms with heating, telephone, minibar, satellite TV and safe. From the airport: (Barcelona) Head towards the centre on the Litoral. By train: to Estación de Sants and then metro.

3 Star Barcelona Beach Hotel - Hotels in Barcelona Spain

The 3 Star Rafael Diagonal Port Hotel opened in February 2001 and is located in the area known as Front Maritim. It is within walking distance of the harbour and has easy access to the sea. The hotel has multifunctional rooms for the disabled.

Hotel 54 Barceloneta

The boutique Hotel 54 Barceloneta is situated in the Barceloneta area of Barcelona, the marine neighbourhood full with restaurants and terraces. The hotel is in front of Port Vell, close to San Sebastian beach and Las Ramblas, it is very well connected by bus and metro.
