Map of BarcelonaCheck out this interactive map of Barcelona! The [+] and [-] buttons allow you to zoom in and out and the arrows let you move up and down or to the left or right. Zoom in on a district you're interested in and then double click and you'll have a close up of streets in that location.
For example, check out La Rambla and then you can see the Ciutat Vella (old city) where districts like Barri Gòtic - (Gothic Quarter), La Ribera/El Born and El Raval are located either side of the street. Barceloneta is at the bottom near the harbor and to the north of the Ciutat Vella is the Eixample district, above Placa Catalunya. It's a good idea to buy a streetmap (callejero) of Barcelona as you may get lost in the labyrinth of narrow streets in the Ciutat Vella (Old City). You can also download a map of the metro as this is a very cheap and quick way to get around.
