Shopping in Barcelona

Shopping in Barcelona is a great experience and covers
an area of 5 kilometres from the Diagonal to the harbor via the Passeig de
Gracia, the old city and La Rambla.
The Eixample area of Barcelona is where you'll find Passeig de Gracia and all the top designer shops. Bulgari, Gucci, Caroline Herrer, Chanel and other designers shops line the street.
Also here are the famous for Gaudí landmarks such as Casa Milà (La Pedrera) and Casa Batlló which makes it even more fun to walk around. However, if you don't want to walk, there's a special shopping bus.
Spanish Stores
Spanish stores such as Mango and Zara are here and on Plaça Catalunya there's a Habitat and Spain's largest department store, El Corte Inglés (another El Corte Inglés is just a few minutes away at
Portal de l'Angel which is another great street for shopping south of
Plaça Catalunya)
Nearby is Carrer de la Portaferrissa (next to Las Ramblas) which is another great shopping experience. The street is always full of people enjoying shopping and re-charging their batteries at one of the many lovely cafes.
Bulevard Rosa at 51, Passeig de Gracia has over a hundred stores including shops such as Follie - Website
Vinçon at 96, Passeig de Gracia sells contemporary design products for the home. You can buy unusual things for any room in the home and also children's toy - Website
Imaginarium at 103, Passeig de Gracia is spread over three floors. Children love it here as there are so many things to keep them amused. It's also very educational and they have one of the largest childrens' bookstores in Europe - Website
Shopping Centers
El Triangle shopping center is in front of El Corte Inglés on the corner of Plaça Catalunya and Pelayo Street and has shops such as Fnac (electrical and music) and Foot Locker

Maremagnum is on the Moll d’Espanya at Port Vell and has a huge shopping mall which is open every day. There are many lovely shops, restaurants and cafes for you to explore and have fun.
Shopping Outlets
Mango Outlet is at 37 Carrer de Girona - just off Gran Via which is just off Plaça Catalunya.
You can often find some great bargains and there are lots of lovely bars and restaurants where you can chill out and re-charge your batteries.
Barcelona Markets
As well as all the lovely shops and stores, shopping in Barcelona wouldn't be complete withought a visit to one of the many markets.
There are around 40 markets and five of the most popular are on the 5 km shopping route.
La Rambla is home to the stunning Boqueria Market and the outside open-air flower market. Not far away, in the Gothic Quarter, is the Santa Caterina Market which is easily recognized by it's multi-colored wavey roof.
