Cheap Flights to Barcelona

There are many budget airlines with daily flights to Barcelona. Easy Jet flights are to El Pratt airport which is just 12kms from the city of Barcelona.


Ryan Air fly to Reus Airport and Girona Airport which are just over one hour from Barcelona.

Barcelona Airport is located 12 km (7 miles) south-west of the city of Barcelona in the area of El Prat del Llobregat.


The airport name is El Prat and the airport has three terminals. Terminal A and B are for international flights and Terminal C for flights to Madrid and other Spanish destinations.

To reach the center of town from the airport you can take the airport bus (runs every 9mins) or the train which runs every 30 mins from 6.13am till 11.43pm Mon-Fri.

Train Travel In Spain

If you're coming from London you take the Eurostar from St Pancras in London to PARIS (2 hours and fifteen minutes), then the 'Trainhotel Elipsos' night-train to Barcelona.




Barcelona Trains - Travel to Barcelona

Barcelona trains include the main local suburban train service FCG (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya) which runs from Plaça Catalunya.


Barcelona Airport Train

Line 10 links the airport with Sants and França stations. The train stops at the Airport - El Prat de Llobregat and then stops at the following stations - Bellvitge, Barcelona Sants, Passeig de Gracia (this stop is a 10 minute walk from Plaça Catalunya in the center of town).


The last stop is Estació de França which is where you get off if you're staying in the El Born. The journey takes 32 minutes and trains come every 30 minutes.

Barcelona Bus Barcelona buses are modern and clean and very good for traveling around town.


It's an inexpensive way to go sightseeing and the airport shuttle bus is the most popular of Barcelona transport to reach the airport.
